I believe in the healing and restoration of relationships, our relationships with ourselves and the relationships with those with whom we love. I came into this field with a passion for helping others with wounds from ruptured attachments, those with childhood trauma, and those with struggles in the ability to regulate intense emotion. I believe that each individual can live a life worth living and enjoying. My practice is to gently walk alongside the client in their journey, equipping them with skills to live in a functional role in life. I believe that in the journey of healing our wounds, we are able to grow and thrive as authentic individuals who then become healthy parents, partners, and friends.

My background and training includes a Masters in Counseling at the University of North Texas. I have gained experience in a variety of clinical settings, including running counseling groups in a psychiatric hospital and as a primary therapist and case manager for a residential treatment center for addiction and trauma. I have been in private practice since 2014.
